Yes it's true. Without armor the head look very heavy ! It's kind of cartoon.

So it's no a joke. The warrior look strange with the addition of a 1x2 brick. He has short legs.

This set deserved to be revisited ages ago... Look at all those positive comments!

I really have nothing to add. As noted, a horse, weapons, fully armoured fig, dragon plumes in one, cheap set is a killer deal. If these were around again, I'd easily buy ten in one go. And then more. And more....

(Are you listening, TLC?)

Parts: 7.5/10
Playability: 7.5/10
Figs/Accessories: 9.5/10
Design (then): 9.5/10
Design (now): 9.5/10
Nostalgia: 9/10

Overall Score: 8.75/10

I thought I had about 10... looking back, to be more sure I had about 12. Me father bought these cheap for 1$ per knight, hoho!

The only things that could be better was a barding and a brown horse in my opinion, but those are luxuries.

I was lucky to score 15 of these on clearance for 59 cents apiece many years ago in a local Target store. That was back when I lived in California, in a virtual 'black-hole' of LEGO collecting... I got so many sets on clearance because no one ever bought LEGO in the stores there... ahh those were the days... but about the set, what can I say, I have 18 of them now & I absolutely love them! I hope that TLC makes another set like this (and as cheap as it was initially)...

This was one of the first Lego sets I had purchased after my 1st Dark Age; it reminded of me of how really neat some Lego sets are. Very nice. The armor... The helmet... Need I say more? Barding would have been nice.

This was one I've had since I was a kid. I wish I would have bought more. I was an awsome army builder. Look at all the great little armor and weapon parts that come in such a small set!!!

Great to stock your army, and also to build up cavalry. With the crossbow, shield, horse, and two swords, its definitely a great LEGO set to get in bulk.

Great set, This is the type of knight that I love. The pointed visor and the grey plate armor. This is solid set. I finally got another one of these bad boys off of E-Bay. It made my day when the package arrived.

Also to answer an earlier question,

Super Knight can = Heavy Cavalry.

They just don't quite make 'em like this anymore. But they could. Maybe they will.

I've really got nothing to add, except I don't have one, but I would really like one...or ten.

Sorry to keep adding replies over and over (its a pretty slow day at work)...

Anyhow, I'm really digging the new format. It looks as if Lego is moving back towards the diorama pictures, from the catalogs of old. Definately a step forward, or is that backwards... well whatever way, its in the right direction.

This set is one of the main reasons, I had switched from space to castle (many, many years ago). I absolutely loved the armor and visor – my first ever knight. I bought several of these sets, and even though I would have preferred my knights to be all gray in color, this guy was absolutely stunning.

I think I still have 2 boxes in unopened mint condition.

One of the first sets I ever got off bricklink. At first I thought it is rather expensive set none the less. But on the other hand I bought two due to the armor and weapons. I wish I bought more, since I now know it is a exellent deal, not a ripoff.
