No I haven't heard those rumors. But why would it be Belle's? They only did one of the Disney park castles. California and Orlando have different castles. Just wondering.

Hey,

71040 was the big gift for my daughter (and, let's face it, kind of for me) this year. We've only built the first two bags so far, and it's really nice. I like how the base was quite complex, not just a simple baseplate. The tiled floor is nice, but I have to admit that when the instructions had us start with a turntable piece (in order to offset the floor by 45 degrees), I was hoping this would spin around, so you could place figs on it and have it turn around like they were dancing. The columns in bag two are nice and intricate. Looking forward to bag 3, but building with a kid means you take breaks in a complex set.

I hadn't heard the rumors of a Beauty and the Beast castle. If true, perhaps they are considering something with a more different look. Here are the Disneyworld and Disneyland castles:

While there are distinct differences, they have a similar feel. Probably many people assume they are identical designs. Here is the Beauty and the Beast castle:

Which is further off from the other two, which might lead to some unique building. I'd particularly love to build the big library, with those double winding staircases.
BTW, that article linked above (this link) is interesting, it compares castles from various disney films to real-life castles.
