Spacey Castle Set Review: 70357 Knighton Castle

Post by Bruce N H »

Join the Spacey Castle set review discussion. Please post your opinions on the set play ability, piece selection, design, etc. Which sets stand up to our laser-catapult of critique and which ones crumble in shame!

This week’s set is 70357 Knighton Castle.

Knighton Castle is part of the 2017 wave of Nexo Knights sets. It's the biggest set yet in the theme with 1426 pieces. Finally, our heroes have a home worthy of their fame that doesn't have to roll around all the time.

This certainly looks like a great set to have! it's a rather unique design, quite large, with lots of minifigs to both sides of the fight. A kid could spend hours of his time with this set!

The only downfall I see is it doesn't transform into a spaceship and take off. A missed opportunity by Lego. At least the Fortrex had treads.

It's not what you say it's how you say it.

There are some nice looking minifigure parts in that. The white stone statue, the hair on Fancy Pants, those stone monster faces. If this one ever comes down on clearance or something, I may have to bite.

This is really an amazing looking set to have. One of the biggest theme set that i have ever seen. The work is done at miniature level. Really, amazing!!

I really liked the statue as well. I like the King in blue, but want to get a gold crown for him.

Another thing I wish would have turned up in the show is the ruins of the "Golden Castle" so they could have rebuilt it or something.
