I voted for the bow because the Forestmen use it!

Hmmmmmm....

I vote spear; you can throw it, you can stab with it and you can use it to knock someone over the head almost all at once. :D

Plus, you can quickly convert it into a vaulting pole, a staff or a shishkabob (sp?) in seconds!

sorry - the best weapon is the sword. even the forestmen used some swords. Every faction has used them. Nice and utilitarian. Ahhhhh - A soldiers best friend. His sword. Get in close enough and halbereds and spears are useless. A stout shield and hopefully you wont be a porcupine filled with arrows...

A sword, a sword, a sword :D

I had to vote for the axe. Such a useful tool in a battle or cutting down a tree. The broadsword was a close second for me. If LEGO made a longbow, I would vote for that :D

Definitely the broad sword. Not the new kind, the ones with the raised centers and the shinier texture. The newer broad swords should come in brown so we could use them as practice swords, that is what they look like to me anyway. That is mostly what I use them for now.

Best Blasterman weapon is the scimitar... or the axe or the sword or the pike, any of those would definitely be in the running for best weapon. The belt and scabbard are great too. Wish I had a bunch of them, but I am in brick buying mode, not weapons buying mode right now. But in the future, for sure...

Hmm, pale blue KK sword:
http://www.brickset.com/search.aspx?Set=8778-1
Just kidding.

I had to vote for the broad sword as the most useful all around weapon. The spear is a close second in that it is useful in many contexts--you can hold it when on foot or on horse, throw it, include it in some sort of war machine, porticullis, or spiked pit trap MOC (as seen in that KK photo, to think of it). I do like the design of the battle axe a lot, though (the one the black knight is wielding in that KK photo).

My least favorite of the common weapons is the lance. I've got a ton of those that I rarely ever use.

Five words: light chailmail and a helmet.

Try to shoot though that!
