6060 can't be a legend because people outside the US don't even know it. But then again... 6390 also became a Legend although people outside the US didn't even know it.

How does that matter? Guarded Inn was never officially available in the US except through S@H, and that became a Legend.

Now, then 6060 might be a legend to some Americans. Europeans mostly never knew this set. So how can it be legendary to them?

As for 6067: It WAS available in the US. Everybody who got a Shop-at-Home catalogue knew of its existence. Many American kids most likely knew the set (from their friends, from the catalogue...) but never got one because their parents didn't order one and their grandparents couldn't find it on the shelves... And THAT's one thing that added to 6067's status as a legend.

In the discussion everyone can give the argument for the set they chose.

My first castle set. I'm sentimental (or is it: semi-mental?)

Lots o' minifigs.

I voted the Armor Shop because I think it would work well visually with the Guarded Inn and Black Falcon's Fortress. I say this because what kid or parent would want a yellow castle when they already have a grey castle (Black Falcon's Fortress) and a grey wall section (Guarded Inn) that can be combind together to make a larger grey castle?

Ok Ben, I was about to ask the same question myself and probably with most of the same sets you put in that list (maybe also 6054).
The truth is I've got much affection for most of those sets, all have their own uniqness, I want some that I don't have from them, but it doesn't mean that one that I do have is not really better. That's why I wanted to ask that question myself.

As I said in my other post already LEGO should think of combo Legends, like:
6066 and 6054 as one set
6061 and 6062 as one set
6040 and 6041 as one set
maybe even
677(6077)+6102+6103+6105+6031 as 26 minifig set????

6060 is a very good set (which I never knew until 2000), got a variety of great minifigs and TLC tries (and fails) to make jousts.

Well anyway since I can't really choose so I won't vote for that one.
