what castle set to get?

Post by Barbapple »

I am waiting for the winter lego shop-at-home catalog, but i know what is in it. Of all the castle things in it which should i get? The blacksmith shop, Black Falcon Fortress, gaurded inn or Castle accessories? Keep in mind, the less money I spend the better...

Well, the Castle accessories are the cheapest set. So get them!

Just to let you know, the Blacksmith Shop is sold out. So if these become available I would get that. All of the sets are pretty good though.

No,

The Castle Accessories 10066 set is the one with the weapons that sadly was made with no armor  . The set you are referring to is the 3732 Castle Expander pack. That one has been around a long time, I'm surprised it hasn't been blown out yet.

Hope they add a new set to make a new castle collection with the Blacksmith being sold out. I was wondering when it would finish its run. Perhaps it will give way to a new My Own Creation set. Or a new castle Legend... Still waiting on that banner year!

It is currently 1.314, but depending on your credit card company, they may hose you at around 1.33. That works out to .759 or somewhere near. Shouls have looked in to it a few weeks ago it was up around .781. Seems like a small amount, but it adds up when you do bigger purchases.

Exchange rate are approximate, I saw them earlier today when I was watching the news.

Really depends on what you can afford and what you are really looking for.

If you got none of the above, I guess the Guarded Inn is a must.
