This week’s set is 7015 Viking Warrior Challenges the Fenris Wolf.

Viking Warrior Challenges the Fenris Wolf was released in 2005. A Viking armed with his axe and sword battles the fully posable Fenris Wolf. Various accessories such as a shield, spear, and jewels are included.

I've not got it, but I really like the design of this set; it's simple, playable and cheap(ish)

fantastic little set. a guy, an axe, sword, and a nifty little wolf. although the spear/shield thing is a little weird, if one doesn't like it one can just take it apart and have an extra spear. the fig is a great comprimise between regular figs and some other viking figs; he still looks enough like a viking that he's totally believable, but he's not quite so blatantly screaming/primal that he couldn't be used for other things. also, the black euro armor, as well as him having a cool torso underneath, is a huge bonus.

the wolf wasn't quite working for me when i first saw it, but upon putting him together and playing for a while i really started to like him. i can certainly see why one might not like these bionicle beasts, but they're definately growing on me.

also, as cheap a lego set as you're really going to find. totally recommended.

I own two of these, and I must say the wolf looks even better in a pack. The fig is also really good; he has a printed torso, which is something I love about the Viking theme (makes me wonder why they don't do it for KK2). Plain black euro armor is always a plus, along with the axe and spear (can't say much about the sword, though at least it's in a good color).

LEGO's really starting to make a great comeback with their small sets, and this set is a testament to that.

One of the best sets that TLC have issued lately. As the others mentioned it features enough parts and accessories for a small set. I'm especially fond of the black euro-armour as I've been in need of one ever since I started collecting LEGO. The beasts are not to my liking and this was also quickly disassembled. They just don't feel "castle" to me.

So my 8/10 for the set value
and 6/10 for its design

I love this set! I think I own 8 of these, and every one was a VERY worthwhile purchase. Such a small, yet superb set is hard to come by in today's LEGOs.

It has a ton of parts and all of them are uuber useful! The fig is a nice one and the black euro armor was a huge draw for me. The only thing I don't like is the weird spear/shield thing made for a bionicle-esque part, but that's easily forgivable with such a great modern set!

I just got 5 of these while I was up in Canda and they rock. I like that the torso is different than the ones I already got from 7018, and like eNiGMa said they do look good in a pack.

I love this set. I have 2 of them(I would have more, if I could get them locally.)

First off, great fig. Awesome torso, that's highly useable in just about any castle scene. Black euro armor. Does it get any better than this? The helmet is decent(not my favourite.) The sword is KK2, but like Enigma said, at least it's in a decent colour. You can always use the spear instead. The face is ok. The shield thingy is just weird, but it can go in my pile with the other almost-useless Bionicle stuff.

The wolf is really kool, because it's so articulated. And it's an awesome parts pack. You can never have too many of those pneumatic T joints, especially if you're also a Spacer.

All in all, great army builder and parts pack. Absolutely one of the best minifig sets Lego has produced recently.

Great little set! They don't come much better than this. I have six of them. The fig is simply awesome. Black euro armor, cool torso, viking helm, and good castle face. The shield thing odd but the wolf is okay. At least the wolf parts are very usable elsewhere. The only thing that this set is missing is a shield but the smaller boat has extras so that's fine too.

The concept is great, but the execution is a bit akward with all of the over-sized bionicle elements. However, the diversity of parts is actually a plus here. Black Euro Armor is of special note to this set. Black droid arms, and white teeth/horns are also good inclusions. Plenty of weapons! Price for the set is fairly good.

My first viking set. Nice cheap little set. I'd have been much happier with it, if it had another viking or two and no wolf. I'm not really all that into the bionicle monsters, but the wolf would make a great robotic guard dog for an evil space theme scientist. Also nice to get black armor.

Not to be the voice of discord here, but I really don't like this set. Don't get me wrong, I'm happy that TLG is supplying us with these smaller sets. But I've continually passed on purchasing this simply because I can't justify the need to get it.

What really fails to sell me on this set is the wolf. I don't mind brick-built beasties, heck I'm pretty fond of the Dragons and the Sea-Serpent. But. . . this wolf has no lower jaw. Not only is that bad design, but it's annoying too.

Beyond that, there is a nice selection of minifig stuff here. But not enough to justify buying it, for me. I'd rather spend 14.99 CAN to get a boat (two pirate dingies!), two figures, and a nifty little wyvern, than spend 5.99 CAN to get a single fig and a beastie with no jaw. Just seems like a better investment.

Well I adon't like the wolf, but the set is still very useable and has a great range of parts. My fav being all the black hooks in the wolf, those haven't been available in gty cheaply for ages...

This is a great set to a kid, but it will clearly have problems with AFOL's. Mainly because of the wolf. If you could mount a saddle on that thing, I might forgive them, but it ain't gonna happen. The Viking is awsome though, the Black Euro armour is icing on the cake. It's just that I can't spend 5.99 CAN on him.

The wolf is nicely-constructed. I agree with Damien that the lack of a lower jaw is a negative point, but overall I'd take it over the Wyvern Dragon any day.

The shield thing? Just plain wierd...
