Does anyone use a young, strong, female, knight/warrior in their mocs and storylines? This was first introduced (to Lego) in the Knights Kingdom line. The princess bravely defended her father’s kingdom from those ugly Cowpack knights. I would say that Joan of Arc was one of the first (European) women to fit this category. I like the idea and use one of them as co-commander of my Dragon Masters army. Does anyone else use women as main or important characters?
By the way, the fright knights witch doesn’t count. -shudder
Female Warriors
Maybe not exactly what you're looking for, but I did make the following custom minifig:
Of all my custom figs, I think she's my favorite. I call her the dragon princess, and think of her as a dragoon or dragon rider, who commands the kingdom's fearsome air force (dragons), and protects it from neighboring warlords' black magic attacks. Rumor has it that she is also the illegitimate daughter of the king... but all these have to wait as she's still waiting for me to build her a castle.

I have a strong female as the leader of my Draghar faction. It is a mixed faction of Dragon Master torsos, black knight shields and assorted helmets. They are a band of Dragonslayers loyal to no one. They have a modified Dungeon Masters castle as a home base. If you want to see the keep, here is the link http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=24403
My Centaur army is also led by a female centaur mage and a male centaur mage in unison.
Other factions I have have very prominent female leaders, but like the centaur mage, they are almost exclusively magical.

After a long absence, I have returned. I can't wait to start building again.

To me, my sigfig is a woman.
And I didn't choose the fig for nothing, so she's a heroine/warrior.
