Romanesque Church

Post by Rs_Conqueror »

This is something I've had around for a long time but never got around to posting it...
This is one of my better MOCs (although I'll admit thats not saying much).
Hope you like!

I would really like some feedback on this.
Thanks!

I like the bell idea, but it shouldn't have 2. Other than that great work.

It is very nice. Personnally I like the 2 bells.

Nice use of the arches leading to the main door. Nice use of the arches on the side as well. Can you center those windows better with the arches? It's also nice to see those ugly green Harry Potter roof tops put to use. :)

I don't like the mix of corner walls with curved walls. My guess is your piece count is limited, but I'd rather see the towers be one level lower with no corner walls.

I like it. This is a nice moc but somehow I feel the towers are out of proportion in that they're too big (base-wise), perhaps it is due to the usage of the round pieces? Don't know what else to say except your moc gives me a good feeling (don't know how else to describe it, sorry), I hope to see more stuffs from you in the future.

Hello Rs,

In my humble opinion, you could improove your MOC if you build the towers square 6x6 instead of cylindrical. For a good proportion in relation to the nave of the church, the towers don't have to be as high as you've build them now, Romanesque churches where much more 'down to earth', as apposed to churches build in the Gotic style.

With friendly greetings, M. Moolhuysen.

Great moc! I really like the way you did the doorway... I'm going to try a church or something soon...

Keep up the great work man!
