So are we building things like a pit with leaves and branches over it that someone would fall into?

Ya, anything like trapdoors, falling axes, pits, knives shooting out of walls, falling rocks, trip wires, etc

Can I make a large creation with different types of traps?

Sure, I don't see a problem with that (keep in mind we'll judge the traps, not the MOC as a whole, though)

There are some great traps! I really like Rocco and Yaron's because they are mechanically operated, and very cleanly build. However, most are great!

I didn't see Yaron's last time I looked. It must have been added more recently. It is pretty cool. I also really like the spring/spear one that Brian entered.

Anyway, I'm glad somebody likes mine. (Rocco) I spent a good amount of time thinking about it.

I had started building a second trap that would have just floored everybody, but I didn't have enough time to get it done. It's a trap that is not like any of the ones that have been entered in this contest either.

BTW, is there a May building contest? Now that I'm done with college, I have more time to build things. (I built my trap on Thursday during exam week so I was rather rushed.)

I will be unable to run a May contest, due to a very busy schedule. I believe another admin has ideas for another type of contest. Details on that should be forthcoming.

Um..... you seemed to have missed my second entry, which I put online and emailed to you on april 30th... Was it disqualified, did it not get to you in time, or did you just forget the link or something?

Confused.....

Third place! That's pretty cool. I actually won a prize! This is the second Lego contest I've entered and the second MOC I've ever put up for public display. I'm glad the judges thought it was above average. :)

I expected Yaron to win, but I figured I had a chance at second. Are the scores going to be shown so I can see if I was close?

Oh, and after the prizes are picked, I just have to know what the mystery prize was. You gotta tell!
