My firsts MOC pictures

Post by David Girard »

Hi everyone,

I'm working since the start of this year on many sets that I want to build. My objective was to make them like Lego sets, and like if Lego as done them.

I worked on about 10 sets at the same times. I wanted to make them with accent on civilian peoples. This is picture made with pov-ray. I didn't build them for the moment because of lack of money  , but I expect to build them soon.

The page where they are is
http://www.inorchestral.com/David_Girar ... bucherons/

I'd like to have your comment and if they fits with 1984-1990 Lego castle spirit.

P.S. There is no foretsmen, peasant and knights faced grill helmet. They don't exist in ldraw for the moment  . I'll correct it when i'll build them.

Hey David,

Cool! I love that tudor lumbermill. The forest is also nice too. The lumber cart is also really cool.

Dave, can you tell me what is LDraw like? I've got MLCad and I'm a bit bored by the slowness of placing the bricks and stuff.

All in all, great stuff!

Ldraw is easy to use if you make the tutorial before using it. I like it a lot. That's permit me to design what I want and build it after. Obviously I have to buy lacking piece.

That's a fantastic tool. i love it.

There many information on www.ldraw.org

P.S. The lumber house can be open.

Hi David,

I like your three moc's. My favorite is the lumber cart. I like the logs, minifigures, and the cart itself. I think you should make instructions for us since you already made the ldraw files :D We need more castle instructions at BIP

Building Instructions Portal Castle

Great job on the moc's

You absolutely met the spirit of the sets! I always appreciate such MOCs. The wood mill is cute and your trees are also nice.
