The picture quality isn't that bad. (I've seen quite a bit worse, even on this site.) As for the building itself, it looks pretty defendable and well-built. And about comparable in size to a real Lego set.

If you want more wall pieces, check out Bricklink, and this store called Bricks4you. It is in Denmark, with a minimum order of $100.00 USD, but if you do a group order (thats what I did) it works well. He has really good deals, I was able to get 40 wall pieces for $15 USD!

As for the MOC, I like the way it opens. Well done.

Nice little MOC there! It reminds me very much of a LEGO set! :)

About the wall pieces - I used them for a bit, then realized that for about the same price as a wall piece you can usually get all the pieces you need to make an equal amount of wall out of bricks. And personally, it looks much better.

Well it doesn't really look like a kings palace, but you've got yourself a sweet little outpost their! Keep it up!

Yes, it would look alot better with out the wall pieces. As for the MOC, it does look like a LEGO set (don't know if thats a good thing....).

I don't think it looks like a lego set.

You cannot purchase the same amount of new bricks in old light gray for the price you can get new castle wall pieces. That may have been the case 18 months ago, but old light gray in decent quantities is getting harder to come by and the prices are going up.

Back on topic, I like your MOC, the hinge opening looks good, it has 4 walls which makes it better than most sets produced by TLC. If there was one thing I would change, it would be the door piece. That same piece is available in old light gray in set #4705 Snape's Classroom. That set can still be found in a lot of areas and usually for much less than full retail. The tan just doesn't fit. The rest I like. :)

After a long absence, I have returned. I can't wait to start building again.

Well, personally I would not be very pleased with such a compliment :(

Perhaps I'll restate it as a compliment (or maybe a comment):

It looks comparable in size to a Lego set, and comparable in function and design to a classic set. It does not necessarily look like one.
