Monkey Island town by Romas

Post by Bruce N H »

Hi all,

This just showed up on Brickshelf by "Romas". I have no idea what "Monkey Island" is and from the figs and the ships on a shelf in the background this seems to a be a pirate town, but you could call it a castle city very easily just by adding a few relevant figs. Anyway, it's a WIP, but already it's a pretty amazing layout.

Ah, Monkey Islands.. I remember the game, with Guybrush Threepwood. Not the best game I've ever played but it was quite fun!

Anyway, the MOC is looking pretty sweet so far. The cathedral is amazing, extremly well built and designed. The street layout is looking good as well, some nice houses there.. I wonder if they all have interiors??
I would like to see this finished, it looks great and I'm sure it will turn out even better. I haven't been on the game for a while so I can't remember what it looks like, still a good MOC though.

Hmmm, maybe you were disappointed at the apparent lack of Monkeys, Freak... I was kinda missing them myself.

I'd love to see this populated by Castle figs, it would be so perfect for them.

The cathedral rocks, and I love the gray trim on the black. It looks really good.

The cathedral looks really great. Very well designed. It has many interesting details, especially on the facade. A good use of the 1x1 rounds. Also in constructive aspect a good looking building.

In short; well done 8)
