Re: LCC Global Challenge Finalists - VOTE for PRIZE DRAWING!
Grand work everybody, it's great to see the LCC is still going this strong after a year. Thanks to the Kings's Council for taking the time to run this as well, and lots of rats from Congo to the winners!

Re: LCC Global Challenge Finalists - VOTE for PRIZE DRAWING!
If we didn't have the system in place that we do now, I think that you'd be hard-pressed to have a clear winner with only 47 voters choosing between the 80 entries that were submitted for this GC.Sir Bragallot wrote:I'm not saying it's a bad system, I'd just like to point out that I think with this system of picking 2 faction finalists first, the final results get highly randomized and don't necessarily mean all that much - since it's highly subjective someone might have liked and voted for another MOC that we didn't pick had it been in the final.
No system is perfect, but I think that the way we are doing it allows each faction to have control over who their finalist is, which is nice. It's up to each faction to select the finalist that has the best shot at winning.
Better luck next time!

Congratulations to the winners. There were many wonderful entries and it was fun to see the two phases from everyone who entered. Thanks to everyone who made it possible.

Wow! This is totally unexpected, and much appreciated! Huge thank you to AK and the organizers who put in so much time in working with 80 entries especially when you consider the high quality of builders there are in LCC. All of your MOCs inspire to build better and with more imagination...and your humor is much appreciated too
Fall of the Ice Wizard was such a fun build, thanks again for GC3

K. Kreations, please contact us to receive your unofficial 3rd place prize. Just getting involved with Classic Castle, we were a little too late to be involved officially in this contest, but look forward to working with AK_Brickster and sponsoring future contests.

Dude, I literally said:AK_Brickster wrote:If we didn't have the system in place that we do now, I think that you'd be hard-pressed to have a clear winner with only 47 voters choosing between the 80 entries that were submitted for this GC.

I was merely expressing why I wasn't too concerned with Loreos' low score, because I don't necessarily think it means all that much.Sir Bragallot wrote:I'm not saying it's a bad system

Re: LCC Global Challenge Finalists - VOTE for PRIZE DRAWING!
OK guys, I have determined the winner of the custom black and white dragon cape provided by Cape Madness!
To determine the winner, I used a random number picker to select a page # and "vote" comment.
The first number was selected from pages 1-4 and came out as a "2" (no votes on page 5)
I then went to page 2 and counted how many "voted" posts there were, which came out to 13 and the random number picker came up with a "3", which took me to the post below:

Too late, caleb282. The contest is over and the drawing has been held. I will change the name of this thread to reflect that.
