Tigelfah Castle

Post by peggyjdb »

I posted back in June about my contribution to a collabortive for a British display, Tigelfah Castle, at STEAM, Swindon.

Well after some 9 to 10 months of building I'm nearly there. In the lead up to the show I'll be posting pictures from my build. Below is a shot into the outer ward

Image

I'll drop more picture into this link as and when I post on flickr.

If your in England during the first weekend of October and can get to Swindon, you can come and see it for your self :D It would be great to meet any CCers there!

Wow, this is stunning. And yet it's only a slight bit of the outer wall! You sir, have something magnificent in the making. Can't wait to see it complete! :)

Yummy! I love how you have staggered that path. That is a really cool technique. And I think the red and blue on the old knights go very well with the color scheme you've got going on.

Enjoyable!

And I'm guessing even with the shot slightly cut off that there's still a bit more to this massive build? Man, you've really outdone yourself! I really wish I could see this in person! :spin:

This is one of the best, complete castle builds I have ever seen. The size of it is inspiring. This brings a true ratio to the minifigures that is much more believable than other small castles we see. Hats off man, this is fabulous.

This is the one of most unbelievably awesome castle MOCs I've come across. The insane level of detail and the sheer scale of the thing makes it so brilliant! :o  :twitch:

Magnificent. As I've said before it's very rare to see a realistic LEGO castle, but you've nailed it here. Apart from the awe-inspiring castle, the landscape is also top-notch. The rockwork and little waterfalls look amazing :)
