Did you ever get confirmation? I still can not access the page, every time I try it times me not available. :?

I posted on this a bit ago- I noticed that the links from the frontpage announcement don't work, but if you use the links at the beginning of this topic then you can still access those pages. It worked for me anyway.
Although when I get to the "view entries" page, every category has a zero. Apparently, several entries have already been submitted (including my own), but I don't see them anywhere.

Patience, everyone. Still waiting for some final tweaks on the software before we make a general announcement, fix the links, and start approving entries.

re read the thread and answered my question. how ever it brought up another question that I would like some clarification on.

In the realistic figure category am I right that the figure could be based on a real person or person from legend, i.e. little john/ robin hood or like Joan of ark, or Mary Queen of Scot's? and the custom figure category is for fantasy figures, or figures based in fantasy writings i.e. wizards, goblins, trolls, etc...

That's great, thanks a lot to all who are working on it. It'll be good to see all the entries together!

If I made a scene of a town burning, what category would that fall under?

50 - Yes. The 'realistic fig' category could either be a real historic person, such as a particular king, a realistic (that is, non-magical) fig from a fictional source, such as the characters in Chaucer, or just a generic fig, such as a random blacksmith. The 'fantasy fig' is for things like wizards, monsters, elves, dwarves, magical creatures etc.

51 - It could fit a few. As Legonardo noted, if you somehow use artificial lighting to make the flames, it could go in the "illumination" category. Otherwise that would probably be great for the "medieval town" category, or the "misc" category is always available.

Also, to all, please note that the submit an entry and view entries pages are now active.

For the "Custom Faction" Category, are we going to be judged on the build and faction as a whole, or just the faction (and our use of creativity with it)?

52 - the whole thing, though the faction is a very important component.

Hi Bruce. Is it okay to use Duplo blocks for the base of a castle ? They mesh well with regular Lego blocks and help bulk up the base .
I'm very short on regular Lego blocks ?

Am I allowed to create some scenes from a book or a movie for some categories as long as they seem to fit?

Forest Friend - Duplo have been allowed in the past, as they are still official LEGO parts.

Tambor - Scenes from a book or movie are allowed. In fact, one of the cross-category awards is for best depiction of a movie scene, or something along those lines.
