Wonderful usage of those curved slopes! Both the water and ship are superb :)

Very nice work! :) I like the use of slope pieces for water, very creative and a technique I haven't seen used before. The ship itself is clever and very cute! :) I like the sail and the pieces used for tiny Viking shields are great. Perhaps a sea serpent in the water would make this MOC perfect!

Thanks Bruce and all others. It's been a while since I have posted here. I built the Viking ship along with another one for a Lego event in San Diego Balboa Park Danish days. So what better than build a little a Viking ship or two.

The curved slopes for water turned out better than I anticipated. Perhaps not the cheapest way to make water, but I liked the look as well.

Some great builds by the rest of you for this year's CCC competition. I enjoyed them quite a bit when they popped up on Flicker and Lego blogs.

Cheers,

Miro

I prefer how plastic Lego parts were used for the sails rather than the cloth type. I was never a fan of cloth Lego ship-sails even in the pirates' debut, or the cloth capes that cape out with the Dragonmasters.
