Loholt Manor by Derfel Cadarn

Post by Bruce N H »

Hey all,

Derfel Cadarn has posted this very Halloween-appropriate MOC, Loholt Manor. He says he actually built this last year, thinking to use it for a collaborative display and also for the CCC, but didn't use it for either. I don't recall ever seeing it, so I think he never publicly posted it online until now.

Awesome and unique color scheme! I love the trees, the stonework, the witch figs, and the use of the string nets in the roof. Then of course there's the iconic scarecrow. Another outstanding build!

Very impressive! The slightly sunken roofs, the wonderfully crumbled stone walls, the very organic looking trees - hard to say which amazes me more! The colours of the vegetation are quite a bold choice - but it works and looks very, very good :)
