10. Typically we allow a main image with a smaller inset image showing action (ie: falling axes, trap door, etc). The admins will discuss the GIF option and get back to you.Takkata wrote:When it says 'composite images' are you referring to a photo collage? Or can it be a .Gif file that simply shows the function on a loop like this: http://giphy.com/gifs/lego-12TY8vfPyfSePK
I remember seeing an entry like this I think back during CCCX though I may be wrong so I just wanted to check.
Thanks in advance!
11A. Yes.Would something like baba yaga's house be ok for the fantasy castle category?
11B. That is a hard question to answer without knowing what you have in mind. Please pm an admin with your idea. We will discuss it and see if the idea is best in the fairy tale category or a miscellaneous category.First, for Fairy Tale Castle: How much interpretation are you allowing here? What's the limit you'd consider a to be a fairy tale?
12. Yes. Those ideas could both work for the miscellaneous categories. And second, for the two Miscellaneous ones: Are we allowed to go a little out of the ordinary for these? Like, a medieval World Series? Or a parallel universe?
Re: Collosal Castle Contest 12
Thanks for the answer! Here is another question:
For the Vehicle VS Vehicle category, does it have to be just two vehicles i.e. can there be three, or four vehicles? And should the Vehicles by the focus?

Wondering: need a build be necessarily Medieval European? Or could I try ancient Japan or something if it would fit a category?

14. Yes if it is a piece / color combination that TLG has produced. Altbricks has quite a few shades of green and other colors which haven't been made by LEGO yet.AK_Brickster wrote:Here is my first contribution: Are you allowing Altbricks leaves this year?
15. Yes. Other possibilities include medieval creations from Eastern Europe, Asia, the Middle East, etc.Wondering: need a build be necessarily Medieval European? Or could I try ancient Japan or something if it would fit a category?

Question!
Can a fantasy Castle be from Narnia, such as Cair Paravel, or Miraz's Castle?

In the custom minifigure category, can I feature Lego-built scenery in the background?
