He glanced around him and saw he was in a bed in the corner of a room. A small, smudgy window let in a shaft of light. He wondered how he had arrived here. shortly the door opened and a grey-haired man strode in. His eyes lit up when he noticed that the young knight was awake. "Ah, you have risen!" Sir Ian recalled who this was, a face he had not seen in months- Kvasald, the Jarl of Dunharris. "How did I get here, Kvasald?" he queried. The older man replied:" A couple of farmers found you lying on the road outside the city. Wearing Outlaw armor, I'd like to know how that came about."
"Ah…" Sir Ian sighed, and began the saga of his adventures sign the had left Dunharris in pursuit of the assassin. Kvasald looked with interest and nodded as he heard the tale. When Ian had finished, the Jarl nodded. "A fine tale." The man's face shadowed. "But much has changed since you left. Fishermen have gone missing. Things around the dock are found torn apart. Guards patrolling have reported strange happenings. There- There's…something in the bay."
