[MOC] – The Wedgwood House

Post by Cesbrick »

Hey everybody.

It´s been a while since I build something, but I’ve been sick and with loads of work so I did not have much time.

Anyways, this is my latest build, and the first of 2015.

I tried to do some things a bit different this time, like the walls and some colors on the landscaping. Also, this MOC is going to be inserted in a display that I’m working on to be displayed on my LUG's expositions, 0937 and so its viewable from 4 sides.

CC is welcome of course.

Hope you like it.

Nice work Cesbrick!
I have enjoyed seeing your MOCs and this one is no exception. The colors are very vibrant especially that red roof! I have never seen the stone texturing such as you have done on the corners of the house. It looks very unique like the house is worn down from wind/storms. Having all the windows really tall and skinny gives a mysterious feel as to the character of the owner of the house! The only thing I'm not to crazy about is the orange ground. I think dark green may have been a better choice. :)

Happy Building,
Sir Valiant~

You've become very well known very fast, and this build is a perfect example why! :)

Thanks a lot for your words. Actually I decided to try the dark orange for 2 main reasons:
1 - I'm a little tired of seeing (and using myself) dark green and dark tan on the landscape, so I thought I'd give it a try on the dark orange (I'm in love with that color :))
2 - I wanted to make the trees in dark green so I think that if the ground was in that color as well it would not look very good.

Nonetheless, I'm sure in dark green and with dark orange trees would look awesome too :)
