windows for castle

Post by marco »

Hi everybody. I'm Marco, from Italy. I'm a new member and excuse if i put some obvious questions. I'm trying to build some windows similar to these https://www.flickr.com/photos/87637599@N04/15966647587 but I ca'nt get the two fences attached. I suppose he used fence 1 x 4 x 2 on 1 x1 brick with stud on one side, a plate. But when i try the 2 fences are or too near or too separated. I've been tryng to put the brick 1 x1 on a 1x 2 plate with 1 stud, but it don t works...

Could u help me please?

Thanks a lot!

It looks to me like there might be a tile slid into the gap in the middle between the two fences? I've never built these before so I'm not sure though.

I have done something similar on a manor house I built. I based mine off the window in the santas work shop set from this winter. I will try to take pics and post later.

Every single brick is placed to the right spot. An colors are chosen nicely.
I love this MOC.

I dont know if it helps but you should be able to see how I did it.

I got the idea from looking at this set. http://brickset.com/sets/10245-1/Santa-s-Workshop I was able to work it out by looking at the box art. you can download the instructions to the set if you need to to see how it was done.

Hope this helps :)
