Lego Cattle?

Post by Christopher McCleerey »

New guy here so, uh, Hi everyone!
(Just to prove it I had posted this in the wrong place too. )

I was wondering if anyone knows some good ways to make minifig scale oxen. I've been experimenting but haven't really landed on something I like yet.

Additionaly, any other lego creature creations would be neat to see. Dragons, sheep, lions, chickens, ect...

On a tangent, why has LEGO ignored chickens and instead given us giant spiders and scorpions? Not that giant spiders and scorpians are unwelcome but still...

Thanks.

Oh, and I hope everybody had a great Thanksgiving!

There are many other great creations out there. You can find them by browsing through Brickshelf. Also, check out BIP: http://www.bricksonthebrain.com/instruc ... cfm?cat=46

Hopefully that helps.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys.

It does help! Thankyou Alan! Praise the Lord for the <shameless plug> tag! I've really needed to see a great horse design. I came out of my dark age just after Knight's Kingdom left the shelves. Since I gave my old collection to my brothers that left me horseless. Now I can have my own horses! I don't have those hinge pieces for the tails but I think I'll figure something out. Cool! Your four horsemen are perfect! White, Red, Black, Pale. Impossible with the standard horses. And they're posable too!

And cows all over the place! I must be blind. Thanks for the enlightenment. And chickens, ducks, roosters, donkies, sheep, bison, lizardmen, satyr, minotaur, turkeys, peacocks, pigeons, pigs... Wow.

A stone golem? Neat! What colors and how tall is it? Maybe, if you had a lot of spare time, you could LDRAW it? Of course, that is time spent away from other lego projects. How about somehow using a scanner? No?

Heh, ah, please forgive my over zelousness Timber_Wolf899. You see, I like golems and mecha a fair bit also.
Anyway hope you get a pic of it up sometime.

BTW all this gave me an idea for my own animal.

Well done. I like it. So simple, yet it conveys so much - a terrific use of Lego.
