Built especially for zbudujmy.to's exhibition in Chorzów. You can see it in person up until June 28, as well as many other great creations from our LUG. Why not take the chance?

The main sources of inspiration were Sychrov (Czech Republic) Kronborg Slot (Denmark), Rubenshuis in Antwerpen (Belgium), Fountaineblau (France).
It took less than a month to build, but it was only the exhibition opening deadline that motivated me. This time I decided to make it cheerful and colorful for the kids visiting, rather than a medieval pile of gray stones as it used to be
For the first time I'm able to estimate some parts used:
- about 900 black slopes for the roof
- 900 trans-blue plates for the water
- 500 dark red plates for the brick wall
- about 500 green leaves
Sorry for the photos, as always I forgot to take my camera with me. These are work of my mobile (not as bad for a mobile camera, luckily). Look for more in Darek Mróz's photostream:

Fun fact: it seems to be my 50th MOC so far.

Re: Castle Tuchrov
Neo-Gothic chateau Sychrov in north Bohemia know very well. Clone these locks you succeeded nicely. I just changed minifig partly from medieval to baroque (in the style of the three musketeers), or better yet, for a period of Napoleon's Bonaparte. It would correspond to more character building.
But this is just a small thing. It's a pretty big MOC.

Re: Castle Tuchrov
Very impressive! All the detailing on the buildings and the period accuracy look great!

Very nice work all around. The colors and detailed architecture and landscaping are inspiring. I love the stonework rising above the roof lines. Is that an itinerant wizard sitting under the bridge?

Re: Castle Tuchrov
The one sitting under the bridge is some kind of writer, but who knows... maybe being a wizard in his free time?
As it was intended to be at the exhibition, I placed four minifigs to be a challenge for kids to find. The writer was one of these, and the rest:
- a cook having his lunch
- a knight, who's afraid of spiders
- a jester, who feels like a king?
I guess they may be harder to find in the photos, but you can try to!

Re: Castle Tuchrov
You did well to build this in less than a month ! There's some very attractive architecture in there.
