MOC: Renaissance palazzo

Post by Vineborn The Red »

Hello all,

I'm working on my first MOC to post here and it's going to be some kind of Italian styled mansion with a small square. Maybe you guys got some tips or inspiring photos about renaissance styled architecture. Hopefully you guys will reply. :D

I can't say I'm an expert regarding architecture from that period, but Toltomeja posted this moc recently which may provide some inspiration. Also, this square by Andrew Tate is more modern but has some stunning facades.

Patrick Bosman's Querceto Castle Island has a lot of great architectural details.

Also, there's a Flickr group called Lego architectural features that has a lot of good detail shots. You might find some interesting things in there.
