CGTS entries

Post by Elephant Knight »

Here is my first entry, 1843 Space/Castle Value Pack (Seriously, I just HAD to do this set, only set that has both Space and Castle in it, plus it holds a lot of nostalgia, as it is my 3rd oldest set.)

Comparing with the original

And my second entry, 6988 Alpha Centauri Outpost, one of my all time favorite sets. I had a lot of fun building this, and getting that ramp to line up proved to be amazingly easy, and I am very happy with the lack of any gaps. First Castle MOC I have built in almost 2 years. It felt good.

Halfway through building, I thought of making it black, as, you know BLACKtrons? But I didn't have too much of the right black parts to do it (Used mostly on a 260 long Blacktron SHIP)

And with the original Blacktron set.

Comments and criticism are welcome

I like the way the ramp on the castle angles just enough to not be in line with the baseplate grid, and the 1842 switchout is a great idea.

Fantastic entries! The angled ramp is particularly nice and I like the little bridge connecting the two towers :)
