As I was brainstorming ideas for a new build, John suggested a castle with four phases, showing how it, and the landscape, changes through each season. Realizing a good idea when I heard it, I set to work on the castle. As usual there’s a full interior, this time accessed by both a hinging section, and pull out rooms. The castle itself was inspired mainly by the creations of Eklund, DNL, and Aliencat. Simon S. suggested the addition of a moat. The castle features a working drawbridge, gates, and shutters. This is one of my biggest builds, weighing in at over nineteen and a half pounds.

Re: Arangr Castle: Spring
Very cool. I love the color scheme, the pull-out rooms, and all of the details. Looking forward to summer, fall, and winter.

@Bruce N H: Thanks Bruce! Hopefully the other seasons will follow somewhat quickly
@En_Zoo: Thank you Copy away, giving others inspiration is one of the best things I can hear about my builds.

Re: Arangr Castle: Spring
I've always wanted to do something like this - build a castle, and then follow it through different seasons, events like market days, holidays, etc, face a siege, eventually crumble into a ruin. Someday ... In the meantime, I'll be watching yours.soccerkid6 wrote:@Bruce N H: Thanks Bruce! Hopefully the other seasons will follow somewhat quickly

That's great! That definitely is a black falcon castle.

Re: Arangr Castle: Spring
I like the architecture choices. Going to buy some custom foliage for Autumn or keep it purist?

@Leo of Rothenburg: Thanks! I haven't done many (any ) Black Falcon castles before, though they're one of my favorite factions.
@Wilfred of Ivanhoe: Thank you
@Dubbadgrim: Thanks Dubbadgrim! I plan to keep it purist, the single tree means I won't need to go super crazy with dark orange and dark red.
