Congratulations to all the Winners!

It was fun to participate and good to see that my mate marcu could win one category!

There were overwhelming Entries in this year's Contest. Lots of inspirations for my Mocs to come:-)

@josdu: I personally love your Trireme;-)

Thanks to the Classic-Castle-Theme for all the work and all the Participants for showing their great skills.

As this website's name suggests, this website should Incorporate at least a little bit of classic, but I feel that the site is missing just that. I think that next time the categories are selected, I suggest that we keep a least a little bit of the classic in castle.
Please note that this year because it was our 13th, we went with a "spooky" or "haunted" theme.

Congrats to the winners and the other honorable mentions, I'm very glad to see one of my builds in that list! :D Lots of great entries here, looking forward (sort of, haha!) to this year's! :tasty:

I am sorry, I didn't realize that there is a theme for the contest.

I would like to go back and look at the entries, but that page seems to be down. Would it be possible for someone to fix it?

Also, the last few days I have had trouble loading the forums here, or if I could, I could log in, but it would log me back out again immediately. Has anyone else had this trouble?

Finally, I tried e-mailing the primary Admin whose name is listed on the site to tell him about this, but the e-mail bounced (after I removed 'nospam' from his address). What is up with that?

Hey,

- The links from the winners page to the other contest pages, including the "view entries" link, have been fixed.

- Yes, the forum was up and down for much of yesterday. Dave was able to fix it after he got home from work. Thanks, Dave!

- That old contact page was years out of date. I've put up a really simple page with the four currently active admins. I'll work on getting a better looking page with more content up.

A suggestion for next year:
What do people think about having a novice or noob category? So something like if it's your first or second time doing CCC and you can enter a special category/theme. To enter the category the person would have to not have not won a prize/honorable mention before.

The reason being, I think this would encourage new people to come back each year which would grow the number of entries.

Thoughts?

The term "n00b" is not exactly a nice term. I'm not exactly sure if this kind of category would be insulting or not. But I will bring it to the admins as a suggestion.

Sorry, I guess I just meant novice or how about apprentice? Regardless of the title of the category, it would be for those that consider themselves new or still developing their skills. The description of the category/prize set would be for contestants who felt they fit the novice or new to the CCC.
