Going on an adventure!

Post by Bruce N H »

Hey all,

Over on MOCpages, MELO 2016, the Middle Earth LEGO Olympics, is in full swing. The first round (just concluded) challenged builders to build a scene from the Hobbit. Noel Peterson made a strong showing with his rendition of Bilbo's run from Bag End, I'm going on an adventure!

No wonder irregular borders are popular these days, they just look so good!

I really like the murky dark green water. It gives a much more realistic looking slow moving stream and also serves to fill in a lot of what isn't shown as the water would reflect the dark greens of the forest that borders it rather than being a bright and bubbly blue. Well done!
