The heraldic symbols on the Dratiphe coat of arms consist of:
Gauntlet - strong and prepared
Scales - justice
Anvil - honor
Arrows - readiness for war

Further, there's all the color stuff and the cornered shield, but I won't bother you with what all that means right now! You see, I actually did put a lot more work into this than it looks like!
My entry to the Coat of Arms category on MOCathalon, C&C are welcome!

Lovely coat of arms! The scroll across the bottom is a great touch, especially with the tilted ends

That looks fantastic! Nice job, but I think that the color of bricks that is behind the anvil is too dark and makes it difficult to see the anvil. But it is your creation, if you want to keep it that way go ahead.

This is an awesome idea, had you seen someone else do a coat of arms ? I may have to barrow your idea and do one for my family crest, or maybe create one for my LUG how big is it in size ? im thinking i may make one 48x48 base plates lol.
Are our builds ever really done?

Thanks! Yes, it unfortunately turned out much darker in the pictures than it was in real life! I'm afraid it's way too late to change anything now though, as it has been destroyed for quite a long time! Thanks though!Leo of Rothenburg wrote:That looks fantastic! Thank you! I got the idea because one of the categories of this year's MOCathalon (which we lost by one point! Ha, ha!) was to build a coat of arms - but I don't recall having seen very many before than, though SK did build a brick-built shield for our team's icon Yes, go right ahead!sathalarin wrote:This is an awesome idea, had you seen someone else do a coat of arms ?
