My first entry in the CCC XIV. I can also say this is to celebrate my 9th year anniversary of being a member of CC!

It felt really good to build a castle creation again, I haven't been doing much of that lately. The whole place was somewhat inspired by a place me and my family used to go to (Cypress hills Provincial Park in Alberta, in case you want to know)
Rest of the pictures can be found here
As usual, I like to hear comments and criticism!

You conveyed a forest look very well, and I like that you have a variety of trees in the scene. It looks like a comfortable hideout with the little shelter, fire pit, along with plenty of supplies.
Love the camouflaged lookout too I think the biggest downside to this build is the photography, a bit more light, and some editing to remove the background split would be nice.
Excellent build, I'm glad you were able to get at least one entry in, and hope you'll do some more

Thanks for the comments!
You'll be happy to know that I got at least 2 more creations in the pipeline. one is just waiting on a Bricklink order to arrive, the other is about half done, could be a week away.

Concerning the photography, a variety of circumstances were involved. The weather wasn't too good when I took the pictures, and I wanted to get them done so I could post it, not going to edit out the background, for the same reason, plus cropping out trees is a long, long, awful process.soccerkid6 wrote:You conveyed a forest look very well, and I like that you have a variety of trees in the scene.
