"For the siege of Constantinople, Turkish Sultan Mehmed II(later remembered as the Conqueror) commissioned a Hungarian siege engineer to cast him a giant bombard, along with smaller other cannons. These cannons were instrumental in bringing down the Byzantine walls."

Awesome job! Looks great! The landscaping could be slightly more textured, but other than that, the build looks great! Keep it up!

Very cool recreation of a bombard! I really like the flame effect coming out the front with the projectile

Wow -this is a really cool entry. Great job!
Re: CCCXIV-Great Ottoman Bombard
With such a bombard, I wouldn't want to be Byzantian!
Re: CCCXIV-Great Ottoman Bombard
I think the abrupt change from the tan to the dark bley hurts the overall "polish" of this MOC. However I really like the bombard! The scaffolding/support is well done, and using the six-shooter piece & barrels adds some of the crazy overblown texturing and craftmanship found on cannons from back then, at least to my eye.
