The Cheerful Carpenter Inn

Postby TheLordOfBricks » Sat May 27, 2017 6:30 pm

So, I failed to finish in time, but, I did complete the build, and it is one of my personal favorites of mine thus far! I didn't use any WIP help for this build, but I did take some pics along the way... So, it is my biggest build at 84 x 60 studs, and I estimate it is somewhere in the 5000 piece range... :D

So, this would have been a moc-off facing Joel Tyer in LCBTC, and our category was Arthurian Legend, so I chose to do Gawain and the Green Knight...

Enjoy!

Here are some pics:

Good luck to Joel in the final round! :D

C&C Appreciated!

Nice! The woodwork turned out great and has some complex angles.

Thanks Andrew!

I forgot to mention but to all viewers, I drew the inn design from Isaac Snyder's Green Goblet Inn, and the wood technique I drew inspiration from Cab's log cabin (not sure if it is the exact same technique, but it was modeled after his...)!
