Black Falcon Castle

Post by Misterak20 »

Hello everybody,

I built this for my little son. I wanted to keep the castle as recordable as possible. Each area of the castle can still be reached by foot for the figures. For this purpose, the castle was built modular to be able to interact in any area. for an easier transport of cellar to the nursery etc. I have divided them into 3 elements. The base plates were glued on MDF boards. the 3 elements are then connected by engineering pins. Lighting has the magician's magic ball, the blacksmith's hearth and the fireplace in the tavern. The 3 arrow shots work, the same applies to the trebuchet and the two arrow throwers. There is also a secret escape route in the pantry.
The bottom plates glued to the MDF boards (except the light gray ones) and the small LED lights are not original Lego parts. The rest is 100% Lego. The middle part was painted in brown. I still shy to make it at the last plate, as it consists of original Lego floor plates.

Here are a few pictures of the whole:

Very cool! That's the type of modular style I always use - it makes a whole lot more sense than the vertical cutaway style.
The wide walls with fully playable interiors is nice to see... - May no part of the model be off limits! :)
It would be cool to see more pics of that trebuchet - especially when it's in action!

Great MOC Alexander! I would love to see you upload an image of this set mid-battle perhaps? Like soldiers climbing the walls and maybe a bit of damage on the walls from the trebuchet

Those walls look like they can take quite a beating! I like the little details throughout the interiors and courtyard.
I'm with Brickfan, if you happen to lay siege allowing the armies to clash further, I'd enjoy seeing the ensuing action! :D
