I built this last year for Brickcon, as the theme was "Bricking it Old School" I figured one can't older school than the Yellow Castle.

The build is very simple, but that was kind of the whole point....

All three classic Castle sets (Outside of the minifigures) are incorporated into the MOC.

It's very subtle but the tower is basically the Brickcon logo.
And to top things all off, I actually won Best Old School.
As always, comments and criticism are welcome.

Re: Yellow Castle expansion.
I like the large keep and concentric walls that tie into the yellow castle. The basic green for grass and blue for the river remind me of the models built by LEGO model makers in the 1980's. It is also nice that you incorporated the knights tournament and knights procession sets.
I also built a moc recently in the Yellow Castle style for one of my club's displays: https://www.facebook.com/gtwlug/photos/a.603 ... =3&theater
Thanks for sharing.

Ooh, this is nice, definitely classic, and a cool idea to build more on top of that. Keep it up!

Re: Yellow Castle expansion.
Yellow truly is the proper color for a castle. I love this!
Re: Yellow Castle expansion.
Wow, awesome castle. Great work!
I was just ordering parts to build another classic yellow castle.
I am thinking about trying to develop a small guard post that would fit in with the Yellow Castle as well.

I built a yellow keep/guard tower for CCC XVI. I tried to follow the general style of LEGO 375 Castle, but I used more SNOT techniques and a few modern parts.

Thanks for all the kind words! I always enjoy seeing other creations inspired by 375.
