Hi all,

Tensegrity, or tensional integrity, is a construction principle where solid elements are held together by tension among cables. You may have seen the [url=https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Needle_Tower]Needle Tower[/url] at the Smithsonian or this [url=https://www.manhattantoy.com/products/skwish ... gK0APD_BwE]children's toy[/url] (my daughter had one of those as a baby). Or I remember building a [url=https://scoutpioneering.com/2016/06/17/skylo ... -flagpole/]floating flagpole[/url] when I was in the Scouts (that one's not ours, just one I found online). Anyway, there's been a [url=https://www.flickr.com/search/?text=Tensegrity%20lego]spate of MOCs on Flickr[/url] in the last few days that use this idea to make it seem as if elements are magically floating in air. IMO one of the best is CaptainSmog's [url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/captainsmog/49812911671/]Invocation[/url].
