Hi all,

Forum member Andhe:-) was checking out some classic sets and took the Scala set [url=https://brickset.com/sets/6414-1/Dolphin-Point]6414 Dophin Point[/url] and reworked it into a classic castle theme with [url=https://www.flickr.com/photos/andhe/49866463261/in/feed]Majisto's Island Observatory[/url].

So here's the challenge - if you're looking for something small-to-medium-sized to build during lockdown, take an old set from a non-castle theme and castle-ify it. Let's see what you can do.

I always love seeing mocs based on 90s castle themes. This is no exception. Feels like an actual set that could exist. I also love the fact that this is based on a Paradisa set.

Thanks. Really enjoy challenging myself on this one. I was looking through 80s/90s sets for techniques and inspiration for castle builds and stumbled upon Dolphin Point which I thought was a fun idea for a castle set. I had started in grey but the stairs only come in a limited selection of colours, and felt they were instrisic to maintaining the design so switched to black, which then led me to the Majisto/dragon knights theme.
