Hi all,

Anyone who's played Dungeons and Dragons will immediately be drawn to I Scream Clone's Dungeon Depths. He also used trans elements to make a cool lighting effect.

What's your favorite dungeon monster MOC, either by yourself or someone else? If you're looking for some building inspiration, check out the D&D Monster Manual.

I'll start the ball rolling.

Recently, Duncan Lindbo posted this MOC: Do not call up that which you cannot put down.

A couple of years ago, Rinse built these iconic monsters for use in Heroica scale gaming. I particularly love that ogre. BTW, follow the link for some great Heroica-scale D&D gameboards.

My most obviously D&D-inspired MOC is probably this little quick joke build, riffing on the Gelatinous Cube monster and those LEGO-branded fruit snacks that came out a dozen years back. Despite my having no direct experience and little knowledge of the game at the time, looking back I can see how it influenced both my own MOCs and my favorites from others.

This influence is more obvious in some MOCs then others.

A while back, Blocks Magazine had a feature on D&D-inspired creations.

D&D and LEGO are my two favourite hobbies and I had to write a letter showing some of my D&D-themed minifigure MOCs. My message and picture was published in a following issue. Below is the picture I sent them. From L to R: Mind flayer, oni, orc, golem, goblin, cambion and carnivorous plant-monster.
