Hello there.
After working on this MOC and taking it to shows over the last six or so years I figured I might as well post it online to get some comments, feedback and critiques.
While it is massive in size it is almost entirely modular and made to be moved to shows and other events I'm interested in.
The size of the model I'm not entirely sure of really as I completely forgot to measure it before I packed it down again. If my quick maths are correct it should, with the yet to be finished 48x48 piece added in come out to about 176x176 studs. In terms of brick count I truly have no idea, I've spent every single LUGBULK purchase of mine from 2015 up to 2021 on this thing along with random BL purchases when I've run out of bricks, so all bets are off there .
I've also included a picture at the bottom that shows what the MOC looked like at its first event in 2016 to show the development over time.

As said, feel free to speak out or discuss something.

I love all the greenery! The diagonal detailing on the tudor style buildings is also nice.

This is a great moc, although what's up with the square pond in the corner? Might look more natural if it was round. If it were mine I would also replace the red farmhouse roof with brown flats and maybe make the castle a bit higher and less flat.

Good tips here, thanks for that.minoboys wrote:This is a great moc, although what's up with the square pond in the corner? Might look more natural if it was round. If it were mine I would also replace the red farmhouse roof with brown flats and maybe make the castle a bit higher and less flat.
I must admit I have considered changing the height of the castle in comparison to the walls, with the plan being to raise it about 3-4 bricks to give it some more weight.

Great scene! I love all of the details, especially in the landscaping. I wish I could see it in person. The scythe and wheat harvesting is great. Thank you for sharing!
What challenges did you have or what technique changes did you make while building this over several years?

I Love this build! It is very impressive, what is the story though? What is going on?
