Rahnoen
Here lies Rahnoen, it is a few miles from the main Black Knight city. and is surrounded by swomp land. there is only one road that leads to it.
It sitt's on four large baseplates and is the walls are 23 briks high (I need to check again but I thinks thats how high they are) and I used 23 BURPS
Enjoy.

Thats a great looking MOC! I really like how it looks and what makes me like that Castle is that the design looks like it can be used for a modern day Military HQ. There's a building in the Bronx that was an old US Army HQ and it looked like a dark red bricked fortress complete with crenellations and all.

Awesome job Justin!
You have been hinting at this in chat - it's good to actually see it.
The mix of tan and grey works pretty well. It is simplistic without being overly so. The roof looks a little steep in comparison to the large flat battlement next to it, but you still managed to pull of a very impressive looking MOC. I also like the landscaping around it.
Does it open up? An interior?
Keep at it - I really enjoy looking at it

It looks wonderful. However, I think that maybe you should make a more "natural" looking transition from the rock foundation to the wall. There's something not quite right about the way that tan just begins on a flat surface.

Hey - very cool LR.
Does this open up? I remember you linked me to some pics of the interior when you were still building it.
I like the landscaping, and I also agree with Tycho, I think it would improve the overall look if you had the base of the tan a little more ragged. Still, all in all, its one of your best.

Very nice MOC, I must say that I am starting to like tan castles more and more every time I see a good one. The comments above are really good, but I think the long wall looks a little plain, I unfortunately don't have any good suggestions for you, but maybe something that sticks out from the wall may break it up some.
The interior pics are great, it looks like you have a great start on that. I like the garden you put in the most, where is that located in the castle? Great job!!

Really nice; I love tan castles. The chandelier in the dining room is really neat and I like the pillar bases. I love the structurally details like arches, inset windows, steep slopes at the base, 2x2 rounds at the corner of the front towers and the use of gray to accent the windows and gate. The whole thing has a neat and clean feel (if you know what I mean) that is interesting. Keep up the good work!

That thing sure is big and it looks very well built.
The colours seem to work well and I like the small supports at the bottom and around the entire base. The windows and archer loops look great too.
The interior looks very well detailed and you sure have put alot of effort into this creation. I haven't had a chance to look at the whole gallery yet but I will make sure I do.
Great work!
Jon.

Hey LR,
Great MOC. I really like the color scheme, the inset windows on the front towers, the non-symmetric-non-square layout, the use of sand green for the ground, and the bedroom especially. The kitchen seems a little bare--perhaps it would spring to life if it was photographed full of figs as they hustle about preparing food for a castle full of knights. My only other critique, and this purely a personal preference, is I would imagine the wizard to have a little secretive room off in a corner crammed full of stuff, rather than a largish, relatively clutter-free, room, that seems designed to welcome visitors. But perhaps your wizard is much more organized and more open than mine.
