The retired Knight (Vignettes)

Post by Loneranger »

It was cold and dark as the old Knight rode up to the small house were he lived, his rent was small and so was the space he lived in, the owner of the small house was old and nasty, and didnt care for anything but money.

Everytime the old ladie opened that door, not only did he not get a simple "Hello!" or "Welcome back!" He got "Weres your rent!" I guess one can call it the "Simple life" The Knight wrote in his book

He stayed on the top floor, he only had a chair and a table, he ate and slepted on the small but comfortable table.

usely the old Knight would spend his days sitting in his chair and writing about the old days when he was a commander of a 100 men.

Even though they were hard times, he knew they were better then were he was now.

Nicely done, thoguh the story is rennaisance, which is not as much to my taste, I really like the house vignette. The combination of the room and the doors is pretty neat.

Also, you may want to change the third link to a deeplink.

Cool, good story, the Vignettes could use a liitle more detail perhaps, but not bad. And a good story.

Nice little story and some neat little vignettes.

I like the 3 storey house one, it looks good how you have created it on 3 levels and I like the attic part. Just one suggestion, it looks a little weak on the near side.. of course I don't know how stable it is but maybe you could add in some bricks on the corners so you could still see the rest of it.

Nice work though!
