Hi all,
I just noticed this nice house that was on display at a recent SweLUG meeting. From the image name it seems to be by Andreas Vard or Andrea Svard.

Hey!
That's nice, and I did'nt even know there was a swelugg!
By the way, the title reads "Adreas värdshus", Andreas is the builders name and värd=host, hus=house, it's the place in the village where you can get food (or a drink) and stay over the night, a.k.a an inn.
Nice to see my countrymen holding a Lego meeting.
Joel.

Thanks for the correction. I assumed that hus=house, so I had guessed that the rest was the builder's name. For more on SweLUG, check here:

It's in Swedish, so I have no idea what they're saying.

This house has a really interesting shape. It looks like it should be a little taller and not so wide. I like the roof line, but I am not overly crazy about the slopes on the bottom supporting the second story. I really like the black and yellow wattle and daub, or tudor, whichever you please.
Nice job whoever built this one!!!

This one, however is refreshing. I like the long and low look to it, and the curved roof is sweet. I also like how the stone foundation is absent.Scnicker wrote:It's a good moc, but the tudor style houses start to become too common
