I second that, I want to point out that though the oriental spears come in dark gray and dark stone, the horse helmets only come in dark gray. I didn't vote because there is no 'Dark Gray' option.Scnicker wrote:Those are obviously normal blue and normal gray. I think there's no doubt

I agree with Scnicker. The colors are the normal blue and grey colors. Looking through all of the pictures in that BrickShelf gallery, the colors often look a little off. My guess is that the some of the pictures were taken with a poor white-balance (and therefore with a digital camera).
To see what I mean look at the three pictures of the treasure pile http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=75859 and notice how the colors change between each picture.

I don't believe we have euro visors in any colors aside from black, grey and dark grey either. Certainly not in new grey or purple.Lord_Of_The_LEGO wrote:I second that, I want to point out that though the oriental spears come in dark gray and dark stone, the horse helmets only come in dark gray. Hello
I vote traditional Dark Gray and Normal Blue, since I took the pictures. Man everyone is a critic I actually thought the original photo was one of my clearer shots.
The Treasure shots admittedly need work
I keep saying I am going to take better photos when I get the time. But that never happens, I am too busy aquiring

Sorry Aidan, I wasn't trying to be critical of your pictures. I liked them (especially the treasure pile). I was just trying to explain why the colors might not look "correct" to people.
From my own experience, it can be difficult to get the white-balance correct on a digital camera so that LEGO colors look natural. You'll just have to keep experimenting. Good luck and keep posting the pics.
Again, I'm really sorry for sounding critical, that was not my intent.

Sorry, i didn't want to offend anyone, I just thought they were custom painted. It never occured to me that it might have been the lighting or the quality of the pics.... Sorry for the misunderstanding.
