Cabalistic Castle

Post by The Josh »

Cabalistic Castle was my entry for the MOCC at Brickfest 2004. I apologize for not posting it a few months ago.

Cabalistic Castle got its name from the many clandestine chambers and traps within its walls. The MOC is on a 48x48 combination of green baseplates but the castle itself is about 32x48x40.

The interior includes a treasure room, stable, jail (purposely put above the smelly stable  ), great hall with a light up fireplace, privy, hidden hallway, and a small bedroom. It also has a rubberband powered catapult on the roof that fires about eight [human] feet, a secret exit, falling axes at the door, and four murder holes above the main entrance.

This is the front:

Here’s the interior (warning, big pic to show detail):

This is what happened to Timmy when he attempted to enter the castle :) :

Hello Josh!

That's a cool Castle. Though I personally do not prefer black castles yours fits very well to the Black Knights theme. In fact it's a very worthy BK castle, and the Norman-y look is exactly what I expect from a BK building. Well done!

Bye

This is a very cool castle. I especially like the detailed gateway. And Timmy again gets what he deserves

The trees also look really good.
I also like the way that the grey design isn't simmetrical on the two arrow slits in the front.
The interior also looks really good

It's good to see a Black Castle every once & a while!
I like the overall design & detailed interior.
Im thinking about building one myself to go along with my current project.

Poor, poor Timmy. He was doomed from the start. :D
Nice looking castle. Like Jojo I prefer grey castles, but there are always exceptions like this. Great job!
