With all this activity regarding stickers, it reminded me that a fellow -- Steve McDonough?? -- had created a program for printing torso stickers en masse.
A long time ago I had downloaded and installed his program, and it's quite good. However, it appears that after some OS upgrades on my machine that at least one file necessary to make it work has been deleted. Ugh.
I went to the site where his program was posted:
http://web.ics.purdue.edu/~mcdonous/Main.html
but I got a "403 Forbidden You don't have permission to access /~mcdonous/Main.html on this server" message.
Does anyone know if there is another place to get this fellows program? I'd love to have it running again. Maybe I could then print out some of the awesome torso designs that are being created here.

Re: Sticker Printer
Okay, replying to my own post. I found the original ZIP file that I had downloaded, which contains the program plus lots of jpeg torso prints.
When I try to run the Sticker Printer I get the following message:
"Component IMGADMIN.OCX or one of its dependencies are not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalid"
Can anyone help me on this one?

Thanks for the input to all and sundry.Devari wrote:It took me FOREVER to get it to work. The file you need is one of 1000s on the Microsoft support site. I can't remember how to get it though.
I found the missing file on my computer at work (which is not XP) so I've emailed it home and will give it a go this weekend.
I hope it works because I've always felt this program is great, especially for us who don't have PSD.
Is there any chance that the torso/shield designs that have been created so far could be made available in JPG?

"PSD" is simply the photoshop file format. It keeps track of layers for easier change and modifications. Most of the stuff that is actually posted here are JPG files - just right click on the picture and select "properties" then look under "type". Usually there is a link to a PSD file since it won't display. Right click on my avatar, select properties, and you will see it is a GIF file - that's so it can fit into the miniscule size requirements for an avatar.footsteps wrote:
