Pretty nice, the crosses, statues, cylinders, and other relief work really make the wall stand out. Can't wait to see more, especially the roof.
Is that a dwarf I see in the lower left corner outside the castle? I have a sort of dwarf-o-vision.
I find it funny that the balcony door is bigger than the gate, but that's just me.

Very nice work there Chad!

I particularly like the detailed battlements and windows, and the use of the non-castle parts for the cross.

Very nice! I like the high level of relief architecture. Very creative. Like the "shrubbery". When will we see the whole castle?

I'll throw in my compliment as well, this is fantastic! While I've seen more of this level of detail on more churches than castles I'm also not a world traveller so perhaps I just haven't seen enough castles. However, I don't particularly care as much about if it's accurate as I do about if it looks good... and this looks awesome. :D

Thanks for sharing!

Great Work! The landscaping is very well done and the battlements are excellent. The scale of the whole MOC is also very good. My only complaint would be how open the balcony leaves the wall.

Thanks for sharing and God Bless,

Nathan

As eNiGMa wrote, this is my favorite or your creations. Very "imposing", the tower itself looks great, and the landscape gives a nice touch to the work. Great job, CAI!

Thank you, thank you! I think i'm gona change the balcony when I think of something cool to replace it...maybe an over hanging statue of a lion.

EDIT: Maybe even identiclal to the other side with the cross and two windows. I think that would work nicely.
When will we see the whole castle?
The other side of the wall is mostly done, I just need a few more tiles that should hopefully be here monday. I'm ithching to take pictures and show you guys but these tiles out of place are very noticable.

Cheers.

Superb!
This is the best tower I have yet seen. Although I just singed up, (lol) I think that it will hold that record for some time. I like the landscaping a lot, especially how the tower kind of melts into the ground. I think that the higher door/balcony is cool. I really like all of the decorative stuff on the wall. It makes the tower look more grand, instead of just another plain tower. I like the statues and the three minifigs make it look more lived-in. I think that the rest of this castle would be a really nice castle and I think you should try to accumulate more legos so you can build more of it. I think that you should make a grand gateway with decorative stuff like on the castle. I can hardly imagine...
Hope you make the gateway I suggested,
Thomas

Thanks and welcome Remyth. I'd love to build a great gatehouse for this, but i'll have accumulate more pieces. I also want to start a Hobbit hole, so i'm torn between these ideas.

I love the openness of the interior, especially the tiled part. The steps are cool, and I really like the fountain. Those things that extend from the wall with the statues on them are great looking, and I would like to visit a real castle that had them, but I don't know what to call them. The columns holding them up are well designed. I am looking forward to the next installment. One thing I don't like so much, the wall look a bit thin. Unless there were several towers on the wall, it would probably topple over easily, or at least sway (in a real castle). However, I understand piece limitations, although it wouldn't take very many more pieces to make a hollow four-wide wall.

Hey Chad,

Wow! I really like the interior, too! Particularly the way you've landscaped it and the stairwells.

Now it looks even better! The stairs are beautiful, filled with details! I can't even imagine the whole castle, it would be a masterpiece. Again, great job. It's always good to see such great creations.

Hey great, you've gotten this side done! I love it, more than my imigination..um..imagined. It's all beautiful, yet very imposing. I like the continued use of the statues and 1x1 round bricks. I also really like the use of brown (wood, Im guessing) and the 'rocket' bases for the pillars. That's a great idea, how'come I didn't think of that?

Like I said spectacular job, keep it up. I can't wait to see more.
