Anything to do with Loreos that's been made recently will most likely be awarded points. I'm not going to be too particular about "free builds"
Remember, only two per month.

I hearby interrupt this conversation to announce the next Local Challenge!

“Defend the Homeland”
A band of Outlaws are encroaching upon the Noble lands of Loreos!
Prince Jarius is calling his brave knights to arms! Defend the Homeland! Wipe out the rebel scum!
For the King! And more importantly, For the Glory of Loreos!

Build a scene depicting Loreesi fighting, attacking or a defence measure against the Outlaws (E.G A wall, a watch tower, a battle, a siege,) something of that genre.
There will be no size limitations, your entry can be a vignette or a diorama.
Please do not use megablocks, or other type bricks.
BrickForge, Brickarms, and Brickwarriors parts/accessories are acceptable.
Keep the Loreesi theme in mind when building. (desert/grassland)
Make sure the outlaws look like outlaws, NOT Garhims or any other faction, let's not start a war
Everyone who enters will receive two personal points, and the winner of the grand prize will receive 5 points on top of that.
Hayden and Mark will be judging the contest Hayden and I can enter but we will not count our builds when judging for the grand prize.
The Challenge will begin now, and the challenge will end on 4/19/2012 1:00 PM

yes a local challange and one with outlaws. I was just working on a story about knights of justice fight to get ride of some outlaws in Loreos. Good thing and very nice creation you yourself mark have done again. Exellent
But isn't the global challange coming also tomorrow, having two challanges at the same time can be a bit much for some of us.

Yes, The global challenge will be coming soon, the reason I posted this new challenge is I wanted to give folks the opportunity to build as much as they want.
I'm certainly not expecting everyone to enter this challenge. I'm just trying to give us members an option to build.

I know I've said this before, But I do hope that everyone will do their best in the upcoming Global Challenge. And I cannot begin to stress how important it is to our faction.

So, what kind of things are there to do? I see this Local Challenge... what is up with personal builds? I don't understand what defines a personal build, honestly... thanks!

Hey Flare, Its great to see you have join Loreos!
To answer your questions,
Q.what kind of things are there to do?
A. Well you can build free builds which gives you personal points, which when you have enough of, can make you be promoted, you currently have 5, and to be promoted to the next rank, you'll need 15.
Q. I see this Local Challenge... what is up with personal builds?
A. These are not that related, A local challenge is a contest that happens in only this faction, a global challenge is where all the factions compete.A free or personal build is where you just build a loreos related build, and post it here, for each of these you will get 2 personal points.
For winning or entering the Global challenge will get you some personal points and some points of the faction.

Have there been any other Global Challenges in the past?

What kind of builds qualify as a free build? The limit for free builds is 2 per month, right?

Since LCC is relatively new, the first Global challenge will be coming out soon, maybe this month, But the Local challenges have been around a while, and we are one our third, which is suggest you should enter.
Any builds that are about about LCC and Loreos will qualify, and yes you can only do 2 a month.

Also my late loacl challenge 2 entry is up-
Loreos Ultra- Minor
Near the major naval base and port -Loreos Ultra- is the small settlement of Loreos Ultra-Minor.
The main purpose of this hamlet, is so that loreos can recruit trained and experienced sailors for their fleets.
The hamlet, while small plays and important role, but since the sailor whole settle and train there have scene the world, they bring what building styles they like, and dump them here, this has led to a chaotic series of buildings, such as a Dojo, to train the sailors in the art of hand to hand combat, houses, stables for riding and a small barracks to keep the peace.
