Once I finish my exams, I might be able to catch up a little. Can someone please fill me in on what I've missed in the meantime?
Hey, nice to see you back Sir Bragallot! :D

Loreos won the second global challenge and the third global challenge is to begin very soon! :)

Nice army BTW. ;)

Thanks, I wish I could have taken better pictures of them though. I don't know if my camera got worse, or if I forget how to use it because of my hiatus, or if the lighting in my room changed, but it's getting incredibly difficult to take proper pictures... something to think about.

I'm quite looking forward to what the GC is gonna be, and eager to make my contribution to get Loreos to the top

Despite liking Castle better, I seem to be much better at Scifi building, but I can still give it a go.

Since I left I've acquired the Lotr wall piece, Royal Knight's castle, Black Knight's Castle, the square Black Falcon castle and the Royal Drawbridge as well as the adventurers set with Jun-chi (twice!) and the small raft, and some loose pieces here and there, so a limited brick supply is no longer an excuse... though it will pain me if I have to take apart either of the castles... anything for the cause, though!

Well, I'm still pretty low on vegetation pieces, so I'll just have to stick to the desert. I'll try to get inspired by you guys to build something worthy.

*edit*

Phase 1 of 'building something worthy': http://s1004.beta.photobucket.com/user/ ... 8.jpg.html

I felt bad about missing the previous GC's, so I started early on this challenge, which I will dub 'This is Loreos!' I made a small scene where Lorreaine's soldiers are gathering water from her personal well for the army, and she's kicking an outlaw who came to threaten her not to launch the crusade into the well. I have tons of ideas, but little time, so my plan is to build a series of smaller things first and put them all together into 1 bigger moc when I'm out of time. Next I'll probably try to build a supply wagon to add to the scene.

Okay, I couldn't get into my old Flickr account anymore, but since I hadn't uploaded anything there, it's no big loss and I made a new one: http://www.flickr.com/photos/bragallot/

I tried to add as many of you guys as contacts as I could, but then after a while got an error message. I must've passed the (daily?) limit, or something.

I'll still use my Photobucket account for bulk uploads because I have literally thousands of pictures on there (mostly from Brikwars battles) and I have to pay to keep those pictures visible, so I have to keep using it lest I want to move / reupload all of those pictures somewhere else (which would take forever), but I'll upload at least one picture of every MOC / thing to my Flickr (to not run out of space too quickly), and at least now I can comment again!

Good, I added you as a contact.
Your entry for GC3 is also very cool, small but funny

Yeah, Flickr is a really great site to keep your LEGO MOCs up on. ;)

And I just noticed the faction treads are "stickyed" Thanks admins! :)

And to all knights of Loreos,

Let's crush the GC! We won last time! And we can do it again! :D

Here's the conclusion to the story of how Sir Faulenhart became Sir John Rivings. Hope you enjoy! This is also my second free build for January if I remember correctly.

Here's the link to the Flickr photo for any of you interested in seeing more of the set.

Thanks for looking and your great feedback!

EDIT: I had to finish this up so I could partake in the Global Challenge 3 without interrupting my story! Looking forward to seeing everyone's entries!

Hah, thanks. If everything turns out as I have planned, I'll have more than just the well before I actually enter it though 8) I've already finished some more stuff, but I think I'll wait to post it when it's finished.

That is a cool build, Bragallot! Love the look to the castle. :)
My part 2 build is coming along nicely... ;)

Hey, I recently noticed that a "certain faction" made a special banner for those entering the GC. Would you guys like me to make one for Loreos too? Or are our signatures cluttered enough already? :D

Yes Mark. How about the "Warriors of Loreos" or "Soldiers of Loreos."

My GC 3 Phase 1 entry should be up tomorrow night, but will be posted absolutely no later than Friday.

Also check out my latest topic in the "Buy, Sell, Trade" Forum.
