Never noticed this.

My character is a bit busy at the moment, but I might be able to sneak in something in a couple weeks.

I (sort of) finished what would be my CIC finally, but they closed the sign-up for Lefald and Loreos (if you haven't noticed) . I think I'll just wait it out and maybe build ahead. Thanks,

If u picked Lenfald because u wanted to build using a lot of wood features that is available in Garheim too if u choose to build buildings located in the southern part of it. And I must admit... building snowy things is a lot of fun too
Also, I would like to point out that having a character in the faction outlaws doesn't necessarily mean they are evil. They could use magic or maybe were framed for something. Being an outlaw would also enable you to build in pretty much any style u want.

Lenfald LC8 - Returning from War!


hear ye, hear ye!
The long and brutal war with the desert maggots has finally drawn to a close. The Infamous Mark of Falworth is under the Custody of Highlord Triphian I and the loreesi have agreed to lay down arms in exchange for his freedom. The Soldiers of Lenfald are weary, for they have been fighting for months on the magic isles and then within our homeland. It is time for them to return to their loved ones...


Challenge
Build a scene depicting either your character or another Lenfel solider returning home from War. The focus should be in capturing emotion, not extravagant Landscapes/buildings!


Rules
- The baseplate of your creation may be no larger than 32x32.
- The emphasis of this challenge lies with atmosphere and scene building.
- As always, quality over quantity. Big does not necessarily mean best!
- Post your MOC in the "MOC forum", then post a thumbnail here with a link. Do NOT send me a PM with a link.


Scoring
-Entering this challenge will earn you 3 points!
-The Winner receives an additional 5 points!
-The Honorable mention receives an additional 3 Points!


Judging
I have selected two judges from within the LCC to judge. They will judge on the following:
1.Fits Challenge
2.Creativity/ Attention to Detail
3.Originality
4.Scene Building Skills

You have two weeks for this challenge, the deadline is Monday June 24th at 11:59PM EST

Really excited for this LC!

One question though: Mitah and I have been working on a collaborative story for about two weeks now, and we were just about to wrap it up with a retaliatory battle against the fleeing Loreesi army that assaulted Karemdharon. I noticed that in this LC you said the war is officially over, but would it be okay if we could slip this in?
I think I can speak for both of us when I say we put in as much time as possible during the past week or so and dealt with a lot of correspondence in effort and preparation for this series. Were it not for time constraints on his schedule, Mitah probably would have been able to post the build sometime this past weekend or on Monday.

All we have left is 2-3 more builds and the series will be done. Does this sound acceptable?

If you made it clear that It is during the timeline of the GC4 and not a current event yes.

Just to jump in with an idea.... TECHNICALLY, the treaty hasn't been negotiated yet, and word of its execution will take quite a while to reach the entire land of Roawia (in medieval times, sometimes it would be months before small remote villages would learn that peace had been made), so it doesn't seem unlikely that a few final skirmishes would be had even slightly after the fact
