All throughout Lenfald, statues such as this one are being erected in village squares and other such places to commemorate the brave Lenfels who have given up their lives in defense of our great land.

Okay, I have some semi-bad news.

When Soccerkid and myself were announced as judges for this contest it completely slipped my mind that I will not actually be in town by the end of the contest date. I'm going to be away from July 8 through the 14th, meaning I'll be unable to judge during that time period. If you guys don't mind waiting a few days, I can probably have all of my judging done the day I get back (Saturday), but if you'd prefer not to wait, you'll have to get another judge.

Terribly sorry I forgot to inform you of this earlier!

Not a problem, I have a back up judge that can judge along side soccerkid.

As far as I understand time, the deadline "Tuesday, June 9th at 11:59PM EST" for the LC has not yet passed, though the US date/time system always was a bit of a mystery to me.

I am posting this as of 2013-07-09 16:29 UTC ... If this MOC won't count for the LC, I guess it will be a freebuild.

Especially for Lenfald with many non-US members, may I suggest posting deadlines in UTC so to avoid confusion (everyone knows his time zone offset and whether DST applies or not and can easily calculate the local time/date for the deadline)
